ISO TRAINING FOR TOP MANAGERS AND QUALITY INTERNAL AUDITORS

Technical University of Mombasa is on transitional stage from ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, to ISO 9001:2015 (QMS).

In readiness for the transition the Directorate of Quality Assurance organized a two (2) days’ workshop in Kilifi County at Pwani University for the University Top Managers and Quality Internal Auditors. The workshop which took place on 17^th & 18^th of July, 2018 was facilitated by Lead Auditor Mr. Edgar Eredi from SGS Kenya Ltd ISO certifying company.

In her address during the workshop the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laila Abubakar stressed the need for team work, co-operation and working with a focus to achieve excellence in services and products.

The University is envisioning to transit to ISO: 2015 by August 2018.
